Purpose and contribution to company strategy 

Top Employers Institute is looking for an experienced event marketeer who combines strategic thinking with a practical mindset to help shape and deliver our global corporate events. In this role, you’ll lead the planning and execution of global and regional events that enhance client engagement, strengthen our brand, and support business growth. Reporting into the Head of Events (based at HQ in Amsterdam), you will play a vital role in executing engaging, high-quality experiences that support client engagement, recognition, and business growth. This role also plays a key part in shaping the future of our global event strategy, with room to innovate and scale what works. 

We’re seeking someone with a proven track record in managing end-to-end event experiences — from concept and production to stakeholder coordination, content, and execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering memorable events. 

Key responsibilities 

Event planning and execution 
• Lead the production of global and regional events such as Certification Celebrations, Executive Events, and People Summits 
• Manage timelines, logistics, budgets, vendors, and production elements to ensure smooth delivery 
• Ensure a high-quality, brand-consistent delegate experience across all touchpoints 
• Collaborate closely with global teams on formats, playbooks, and event strategy 

Stakeholder collaboration and communication 
• Serve as a key liaison between central marketing, content, campaigns, client success, and commercial teams 
• Prepare project timelines, stakeholder briefings, and wrap-up reports 
• Ensure smooth coordination across functions and geographies 

Content and communications 
• Support agenda planning, speaker coordination, and content delivery in line with strategic event goals 
• Ensure all assets and communications are aligned with our brand and messaging standards 
• Collaborate with content and comms teams on pre-, during-, and post-event communications 

Process improvement and reporting 
• Track event performance, feedback, and ROI, using insights to drive continuous improvement 
• Contribute to the development of templates, workflows, and event best practices 

Key success competencies

Qualification criteria 
• 5+ years of experience in event production and project management, ideally in a B2B or international environment 
• Strong coordination skills with experience managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously 
• Proven ability to work across teams, cultures, and time zones 
• Experience with event tech platforms and digital event tools 
• Strong communication skills in English (required); additional languages are a plus 
• Willingness to travel for events as needed
